The Shining Armor Award
Information
Having new members join our Council is a great accomplishment, but it works out
for
all when our new members also become active in your Council Programs, meeting,
and events
throughout the fraternal year.
The Shining Armor Award
Is a program that is set up to promote this energetic activity
among the newly active brothers in our Council.
The Shining Armor Award
Is established to give incentive to those who want to start making a
difference as soon as they join. The focus of the award is to get new members
actively involved
within their Councils as soon as they join.
The Shining Armor Award is for those who exemplify the characteristics of Knight
– Faith,
and camaraderie. A knight is his first year may qualify for the Shining Armor
Award by:
Being involved in at least three Council service programs
Attending at least Three Business Meetings
Receiving the Second and Third Degree,
meeting with the Council’s Insurance representative,
Recruiting at least one new member
